  1. I think it is whack. Lets not mistake beauty for talent.
She would do good on a pole though, right in the middle of Jozzy.
    Good Luck sons!

  2. She is he very definition of beauty and elegance, will like anything she sings, even it is only fit t=for the shower, havent listened to latest one, tho!!!

  3. @ Crooked I

Indeed we should never mistake beauty for talent, but she is trying something worthwhile instead of just bitching around. Give her credit. Will ya?

  4. Give credit where it is due please! We should encourage people instead of just trashing them. So much negativity in Zambia. I am surprised that even those who did not experience the colonial beatings are actually the ones exhibiting such symptoms. Lekeni umwaice embe. God Salm Go Go. Tukachilisha pa V-DAY.

    • Exactly but because she is mixed race Zambian mugs think we are hating. She is beautiful, infact very beautiful but how many of them do you see in the western world?

If she can`t sing she cant sing-SIMPLES!

  5. i really don’t get why y’all are hating on salma. theres nothing wrong with her voice, she can sing and this is a great song. it’s about time zambians stopped hating and start congratulating! keep it up girl

  6. Learn to encourage others. It is good that she is doing something and this is just the beginning. Most girls of her beauty are whores and gold diggers.

  7. Yaba, ninshi ifwe tatuli basuma? the problem with you zambian men is,you like light skinned women. Thats why us blacky chicks end up in cocacola-fanta clour because of you. awe mwandi.

  8. #9Malinso. The song is rubbish and yes the girl is cool! But honestly I have listened to far much better Zambian music than this.

But then again that is my opinion!

  9. #11 Ex Crook.

Exactly but because she is mixed race (Or coloured as they want to be called in Zambia) Zambian mugs think we are hating. She is beautiful, infact very beautiful but how many of them do you see in the western world?

If she can`t sing she cant sing-SIMPLES!

  10. Well not so impressive but a 5/10 from me, just keep putting in more you can do even better, keep working hard Salma and all the best!

  11. If you can`t sing you can`t sing! Nothing to do with PHD! Sometimes no matter how hard you try in life, if you trying for something that honestly won`t work our for you, you can do it until you are 120 years old and still not make it.

May be worng but this girl doesn`t sound like one who can sing. But hey, they say never say never. Keep trying girl. It might work out because you are such a beautiful girl and the PR brigade think we are being jealousy!

  12. gal you can sing, I love the song keep it up. i am not giving you thambs up becos of your beauty but becos you can sing girl. you go girl

  13. Not impressive and she is not zambian, in our country we dont have surnames like a Dodia, i think she is indian try to sing in Hindi

  14. I watched her when she appeared on Big Brother Africa 2 seasons back, nice voice so she can sing but no stage presence.

  15. Why do Zambians struggle to support their fellow country men and women? I don’t get it… Is it jealousy? Greed? If it was an american woman we would have seen a thousand and one praises. Let us support each other and build each other up. Feedback is not bad but it has to be constructive and not destructive……..

  16. Ama hater, we kno thats yo major….let th girr do her thang….on th other hand, its gud tht y’all hating….will only make her do bater….bt still, jst dnt hate 4 kno reason…some of u r not tht gud in your jobs, bt who’s hating on u….atase……mwaiketa minyopi…..

  17. Even the well established musicians don’t always produce hits. This girl is still matuaring in music, combined with her looks…..my God!, she is as hot as they can get. How else would you want a woman to look like? It is not just the colour, it is how she is desighned, everything in perfect unisom.

  18. I like Selma but the song is rubbish! For people who are saying it is hating on her we are not. Okay it aint to my taste and you cant force people to like something they don’t! There is so much talent in Zambia that she is bottom of the chain. She might want to reconsider her producers and song writers I mean really who are they eeeeeeish!

  19. Frm video gurl to actress now music! Vo chita chita! Eh..salma u r better off as a model! Yes we knw zed music is now a big cormmercial to bea quick celeb..mama im not hating but go for modeling…

  20. It starts with dreams then hardwork and you finally get to where you want to be.Please leave her alone. She is atleast living her dream. How many of you would say the same.PHD indeed!

  21. Ati in zed we dont have names like dodia – IGNORANCE.. Please is if you dont know what you talkin about then shut up. I dont see anyone else trying to do something different with their voices in Zambia.. Its all just the same sounding crap and when someone tries to sound a little different you shoot them down. Youre all just a bunch of insecure , untalented Crabs! Salma is representing you and all you can do is trash talk. Shame that in a country so beautiful as ours there is uglyness showing on posts like this, Salma If youre reading this Let the haters hate. They only hate coz they wish they were you and do what you do and CANT..

  22. Good job, Salma! Keep up the good the great effort. Ignore the miserable, negative, low-down loosers. You are on the right path, girl, and this grandma is very proud of you! You are a torch for the future generation of brave, new independant artists.

  23. #7 and # 25: On her father’s side, her grandmother is Ila. The Ilas did not come from Kola [Congo] or South Africa; they ‘descended’!. On her mother’s side, her grandfather was Tonga. If Salma is not a Zambian, then nobody is!!!

  24. hi!,I like your writing very much! share we keep up a correspondence more approximately your post on AOL? I need an expert in this space to solve my problem. May be that is you! Having a look ahead to see you.
