Very nice pictures. The celebrations continues.Donchi Kubeba all the way.
Beautifull and amazing memories!
Awesome…………………….
Well done chipolopolo boys and well done Zambia, we deserve this. God bless you all.
Nice photos guys, keep up the good work.
Surely which is the Zambian Green? So many greens, I don’t think, the flag lifted by Mweene is the right Zambian green. Lovely pictures anyhow.
Picture #14, Government need to reward that man  also for helping the national team win. Not by $59 000, but by providing good roads where he can drive his car on and good schools where he can take his children,  good hospitals to look after him so that he continues to render his support to the chipolopolo boys and lastly , but not the least , a good stadium here he can watch his beloved chipolopolo and say his prayers for the team at every game.. Please note, his  prayers made Drogba miss the penalty.
Thats what i call “glory”
I have never understood why Zambian men do not go to the gym
To live healthy you need to go to the gym and someone’s physique does not lie. The pictures above shows people are unhealthy and I am afraid unless you exercise regularly like my fiance you may die young, knowing Zambia is a third world country this may be your excuse
Eat well. exercise regularly and let it be shown that there is something to look at you for. I hate men who are obese , any form of bulgee stomach and although my Father has promised to change I have made it very clear to him
It is for this reason most of us, ‘must have women’ have left Zambian men and gone for the ‘real catch’ men who very often than not are Whites and perhaps foreigners
Just a tip and raise your game Zambian men
Thanks
Batata imwe tabamifundile kaili tamwakafundwe pantu mulichinangwa.
Panyo pako
hahahaha!!!Mushota i love yo humour but ulichiwelewele
Get a life Mushota. Â
Ba Mushota,
Iyo mwa tuchita expose.
I wonder what we can say about Zambian women.
Disguising your gold digging ways behind Zambian men being obese. Damn get a life. Since when have white men become thin and well shaped. Well unless you are seeing porn stars. Address your attention seeking disorder and green eyedness not insulting African men.
For now put yor sock in it.
MUSHOTA, I SUPPORT YOU ON THIS BUT ITS NOT ONLY ZAMBIAN MEN BUT AFRICANS IN GENERAL. EVEN OUR PRESIDENTS ARE TOO BIG FOR NOTHING. VERY BIG TUMMIES AS IF THEY HAVE BABIES INSIDE. MEN LETS NOT JUST EAT BUT EAT LESS FAT AND MUCH MORE EXECISE.
THANKS MUSHOTA.
Batata ba Mushota how old is your father? Umuchinshi kubakulu. I would never ever suggest to my father he has a big tummy-never! Bushe walifundwa iwe mulumendo?
Next you young man will be telling your father he is silly kaili abasungu say it! Atase mulumendo iwe.
Am so glad to have witnessed such a momentus occazion in my life time. Like the eclipse, it may take generationz to see/feel such sweetness again.
Nice pictures indeed. These are the pictures we have been waiting for. Welldone LT. The Studium is very nice. I wish we could have two of that standard.
NICE PICTURES….MUSHOTA YOU ARE COMING UP WITH SOMETHING ELSE OUT OF CONTEXT BUT VERY VERY IMORTANT. CHACHINE. THESE TUMMIES HOLDERS HAVE THINGS IN COMMON, TOO MUCH BEER, TOO MUCH FATTY FOOD ONLY EXERCISE WHEN BATHING. ITS NOT COOL ANY MORE. ATI ICHIMO NOOOO. REMEMBER THAT SUCH DESEASES LIKE BP CAN BE PUT AT BAY THRU EXERCISING. I HAVE BEEN WONDERING WHY EVEN MOST OF OUR SOLDIERS EXPECIALLY SENIOR OFFICERS ARE FAT…WELL COMPARE YOURSELFS TO JOHN RAMBO. THE OTHER DAY I SAW THE PRESIDENT OF BOTSWANA CHALLENGING TENAGERS IN OBSTACLE CROSSING. THE GUY IS AROUND 65 YEARS AND STILL FIT. HE IS A FORMER SOLDIERS. NEXT TO HIM WAS A LEAN GENERAL.
Only exercise when bathing hahaha..very funny. They should hit the gym though its healthy
iwe teiwe ushita ubwala aiiiiiiiiiiiiiii. ataseeeeeeeeeeeee mwankole
picture #14  thats the man who helped us win..not all those prophets claiming they heard from God that we would win.Can you see the man assumed the posture taught in sunday school..and am sure fervently prayed moving all heavens!
you bloggers commenting on that attention seeking woman in comment #9 get a life! if you ignore her she will go but it seems she has a hold on you.
#14 ‘Litunga’, That Stadium in Gabon is exactly the same as the new Stadium we have in Ndola. And now they are building an even better structure in Lusaka. Just go to Google Images i.e. if you are out of Zambia, and type Ndola stadium and then Lusaka Stadium. You will see the current stadium in Ndola and you will also see how the Lusaka stadium will look like once complete. We are slowly getting there.Â
NICE PIX. AND THEIRS REALLY LOOKS LIKE AN AIRPORT.
In fact, you can see how the new Lusaka stadium will look like once complete from the LT archives here: http://www.lusakatimes.com/2011/01/10/quality-sports-infrastructure-zambia-win-africa-cuprb/
Sorry, i actually meant #13, i.e. Litunga.Â
WOW Nice Picture, VIVA ZAMBIA, VIVA CHIPOLOPOLO. Though MUSHOTA you are generalizing not all Zambian Men are FAT?? Actually majorities are lean Only Politicians and some ZCCM Suppliers are FAT. GOOD COMMENTS, ZAMBIAN MEN START WORKING OUT TO SHOW MUSHOAT 6 PACKS?? FOR HER Digestion??
@ Amos, thanks for that sober response to Mushotas comment. Some bloggers will just insult without even reading between the lines. The truth hurts and what Mushota writes is correct most of the times.
You’re an i.diot, you think this his blog, get a life!!Â
Good pictures. Did the Chinese build the stadium. It looks like Ndola. Mushota has some good points about Zambian men who look like they’re pregnant.
Mushota fiancee yakokola sana, when is it going to change to husband, after your 6th Phd?
Pic # 14, this is indeed love for mother Zambia, becoming a prayer warrior in the stadium amidst the cheering crowds. God indeed answered the prayers of the people, almost every patriotic Zambian whispered a prayer during the match. Some people in drinking places where on their knees praying, putting bottles of beer aside.
I wish they would pray to get weaned from the bottle as opposed to winning a soccer game. Too much drinking in Zambia!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks LT, you put back a smile on my face. Cheers!
#17 Brazil,
It is pleasing to learn from your post that stadia of international standards are being construted in the country. I’ll google soon to see the structures.
Looking at pics #5 & 6 it is clear that Gabon airport is more attractive and better maintained than that Lusaka airport eyesore. Zambia lags behind other African countries in everything except plunder and white collar crime.
Plunder is a white collar crime!
I beg to differ. Much as Zambia is not doing well in terms of development, there are some African countries that are worse off. Â Let us not discredit our country too much. There is need for improvement nonetheless.
Let’s not kid ourselves about being better than other countries. Let’s just strive to be among the best. Zambia has changed a lot of late but is still many miles away from most African countries. Ala some countries do not have ifilongoma twakwata mu misebo shesu. Not a single highway muchalo sure! Shame on us. PF bombeni mutulubuleko, not just commissions of inquiry china bushiku. Ala tulefwaya ubuyantashi. we want to see tangible improvements. Infrastructure batata.
Didnt RB want to upgrade or build a new Lusaka Intl Airport?
Obesity is a problem of developed countries. Only a few Zambian or African men have tummies. The majority are lean as someone above has said.
If even 10% of men in UK went to the gym, there would not be enough gyms. Out of any work place, check how many men go to the gym. In fact more women go to gyms than men, yet there are still far more women who dont do exercises. Just look at statistics, news items and the rampart obesity in UK, USA, Australia and other developed nations. That is the reality.
Notwithstanding, people should endeavour to live healthy lifestyles. It’s for their good, the good of their families and the good of the nation.
Am glad you raised that point. Those who claim they know it all seem to have missed this reality somehow. Kaya if they are sex slaves locked up in the basement or what. They don’t seem to see the ills of the developed world.
Pic 14 – From your mouth to God’s ears! Thank you for that prayer.
ZAOU deserves a big cngroats! It has surely opened doors to so many academicians. As one of the ZAOU products Im proud to mention here that knowledge and skills aquired from ZAOU has a positive bearing towards national development, to cite an example its very easy for me to articulate as well as analyse economic and social issues to greater heights and contribute to the nation’s economy as before.wishing ZAOU a more produtive future!
some ediats would even be engaged for the rest of their lives just because it is a muzungu they are involved with. Crap!!!!
I have no clue where Mushota lives because obesity is a major problem in the UK.More that 50% men in the UK is dangerously obese. If you look at the children it is even worse.Maybe she is just negative about anything Zambian and one wonders why she is always checking this website.
Mushota you are a bully, but you got it right this time. Remember though that tummies in southern Africa (where AIDS and poverty reign) now mean health and wealth….like ferraris elsewhere
Looks like slowly but surely mushota is winning the masses over……if you act in an orthodox way consistently people eventually stop thinking you are mad and actually start respecting you. such is life
Mushota ifumo lyobe lilekusabisha sana, uli ngo ulisendele ku maboko, you are always looking for faults to your own people, you look urgly indeed.
It was Asamoah Gyan, now it is Yaya Toure, but Mweene he is not fair, retiring his friends one after the other.
u are right mushota!!!
@mushota,or sorry poor girl, what an illiterate, dull whatever can please the devil you are, sorry hope your stay in the foreign land is not making those VIDEOS, u know them better yourself and your so called fience
Great photos, especially “the Intercessor” in #14! No doubt Libreville was the place to be on 12th Feb. We all suffered from Football Fever and there was only one cure – the Cup!
Some had written us off and put their money on a Ghana – Ivory Coast final but they had counted their chickens before they hatched!
On penalties,
I occasionally crawled into bed and pull the sheet over my head… then Rainford missed and the ball flew over the bar!! Yaaa… that was no fun at all! But when Sunzu hammered that thing into the net, it was a happy ending and I couldn’t hold back my tears of joy!!!
God bless my beloved country Zambia!
oh i cant stop celebbraating i will celebrate til it leaves zed.any how hav lived to witness this awesome joy.players were busy praying ;fans busy praying mbesuma’s gruop busy praising God honestly devil couldnt stand this but to let go.i wish we could pray like this all the time and united thungs would have been better.mushota next musazala MP can see you have supporters.better big black man than whites .big white man are disgusting and they are alot here in europe.
By the way guyz where is james phiri he used to be goal keeper.havent heard of him for a long time.
Pipo Mushota alishota amano so just ignore her. Lishilu pansaka tapabula ichiwelewele. Mushota alishota amano
Little mama james phiri died along ago
Mushota kapuba kabula amano. Kachilende ka pa UK. Her brains are between her legs lol
This is one victory we will celebrate the whole year…just this past weekend we had another Chipolopolo celebration party and I invited by Nigerian friends for some meat and dancing!!!!
Beautiful pictures… for some reason the cameras during the game didn’t have any close range shots of the Zambian entourage. These are amazing shots and thanks LT for sharing.
Mushota though I hate to respond to you, but I’m tempted because many are start to believe you. Please stop misleading people. Yes obesity is bad, but obesity is the problem of the western world and not so much a developing country like Zambia. Get your facts right, most people die of obesity related problems in the West, more so than in developing nations. There are far few ‘rich’ Zambians who are obese as the majority don’t have access to fat food. It’s bad thinking but actually being fat in these parts of the world is considered a sign of wealth.
Next time look at your white relatives of your fiancé before you starting misleading the masses. You would have been right if you didn’t compare with whites, because that negates your argument.
#27 i agree with you. Lusaka airport is an eyesore. the road at the airport istself is very rough. the car park which collects money daily is pathetic. this is why i have stopped criticizing Mushota. She or he would like to see a better looking Zambia and not a zambia with litter from the airport to cairo road.
#4 and 17. What a small stadium!
Ignore mushota.
Y not bar her comments ba lusaka times? Shez always -ve. Worse off talking bad about abakalamba.
The bible says in context that in the last days the young will have no respect for the elderly and mushota is one of the signs of His coming.
Hope you see longer days coz what goes around comes around…
Beautiful pictures. Thanks LT
wonderful pictures. This is one experience i’ve always wanted to live through. Being a die hard chipolopolo supporter with nothing to show for it has been very agonising. Now I have managed to convince my children (born outside Zambia) that we are a great soccer nation. Our infrastructure needs to improve definitely. What we see in the pictures is the difference between corruption and commitment to developing one’s mother land. Imagine a guy risking a life in prison for K100m. ITS RIDICULUS.
I will celebrate any time i feel like
So lovely. Donchi kubeba
(Coment #9) you have a point here, lets just say its every young woman’s dream to date some one with a six pack because that means strong and sexy. you dont need to leave zed for this catch anyway. what your words mushota, i have been abraod and i have seen much more obese than home so mwila ponta mukabwela. i would like to know how bawiso feels after you mentioned to him that he needs to trim on his tammy.
i love my village chicken. long live chipolopolo. next time stick to the topic mwaice!!!!!!!!
Viva giants of africa…abash de doubter twalimyebele ati bola pashi mwakawesu.
Nice photos
MUNATIBWEZA MUMUNZI VERY GOOD EXERLLENT PLAYERS BZ Z

Amy, these are so beautiful, I know Emma and Nico will love them, so many wdeunrfol shots and angles, particularly love the ones through the glass frame in the door. You have captured the most amazing day and have told their story so well in each shot. They are a wdeunrfol couple to know, and their love shines through. xxx
gud work boys. May God Bless
FANTASTIC !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOD BLESS ZAMBIA
Thanks for every other wonderful article. Where else could anybody get that kind of info in such a perfect means of writing? I have a presentation next week, and I am on the search for such info.
