Ex-Rwanda based striker Joseph Bwalya is on the verge of joining Super Division side Nkana.
Bwalya who played for APR while in the East African nation has been training at Nkana for almost a month now.
The former Kabwe Warriors and Kitwe United striker has been outstanding for Nkana in their last three preseason matches.
Bwalya has played against DR Congo side St. Eloi Lupopo, Kitwe United and in Wednesday’s 4-4 draw with Kalulushi Modern Stars where he scored a brace.
However, Nkana Chairman Patrick Njobvu has indicated that Bwalya is yet to put pen to paper.
Meanwhile Nchanga Rangers have recalled midfielders Obbrey Funga and Dan Chama from a loan spell at Zanaco.
Rangers coach Bruce Mwape who confirmed said the recalling of the duo has been prompted by the departure of winger Floyd Phiri who has joined Power Dynamos and midfieder Cletus Chota who is expected to move to Zanaco.
