Vice President Guy Scott says the Patriotic Front-PF party will soon make Eastern Province their stronghold.

Dr. Scott says the opposition MMD will soon lose its grip particularly in the Eastern Province.

Dr. Scott who is also PF party Vice President has predicted that the PF will take over most of the parliamentary and local government seats through nullification and resignations.

He has said in an interview with ZNBC that with the recent victory in Msanzala the Patriotic Front’s eyes are now focused on Malambo where former Mines Minister Maxwell Mwale ‘s election as Member of Parliament was recently nullified by the High Court.

On 16th February, 2012 the Patriotic Front scooped the Msanzala parliamentary seat along with two local government seats in Petauke District in Eastern Province.

  3. If you can deliver development, you will convincingly have the favour of the whole country. Your election is an invitation to prove your claims while in opposition that you can positively turn the country around.

We are all watching you guys.

  4. stop talking about developing the economy.it’s too early for you to start demanding for that.how can they develop it when they are not organized themselves?they need to have more representatives in parliament for them to accomplish their goals.they are only 7 months in power and you want Zambia to become a paradise.let’s give them time.we all need more money in our pockets.

  5. Awaiting for Dr Guy Scott Vice president to act as president whenever Mr Sata is out of the country or else its Gong’a VP in PFland.

  6. Eastern province rise up. Join the south and western province to stop this foolish realignment of districts. RESPECT!!!!!!!!

  7. So the Pityfull Fools (PF) are going to take over Eastern Province by forcing mass nullifications and resignations; and Southern Province by realigning districts. I just hope poeple will wake up and teach these Pityfull Fools a lesson or two.

  8. Look at them more concerned with strongholds than development! This is abuse of media please give us real news not this stale rubbish

  9. Lost priorities, that is what happens when headless chickens assume power and don’t know what to do with it. What has happened to your campaign promises (or is it lies) of more money in your pockets, professional civil service, professional DCs, career diplomats. Priority PF, priority, first things first.

  10. WHAT PRIDE IS THERE MR VEEP IN MP’S RESIGNATIONS AND NULLIFFICATIONS????????? MONEY WHICH COULD OTHERWISE BRING DEVELOPMENT TO THESE AREAS BEING DIVERTED FOR ELECTIONS AND YOU ARE HAPPY???? ITS VERY CLEAR THAT YOUR INTENTIONS ARE NOT TO DEVELOP THE COUNTRY BUT JUST HOLD ON TO POWER AT ALL COST AND DO NOTHING FOR THE ZAMBIANS!!!!!!!!!!

  11. For sure this government is full of it, they are here to just waste our money through making strong holds by having unnecessary by elections!

  12. Its now time for all thoses who voted for PF to check their mental capacity at Chainama. This fela in name of Micheal is a Sham,a circus of a human being.

  13. Another”’ Kadansa’ isn’t this the same who slaughtere his swine only to pay himself, are Zambians with short memories!!!!!!!!!!!

  14. Ba boss ba Guy Scott I do not understand your intentions. Your target is to make Zambia PF stronghold by delivering development equitably, consulting of all stakeholder to draw consensus (not the way you are behaving on realignments of districts), job creation, putting policies in place that foster economic growth. The manufacturing sector is almost dead. A one region based cabinet is not the way to make Zambia your strong hold. My mbuyas have a saying ‘ushumfwa patunono napa fingi tekuti onfwe’. Zambians have given you ideas on how you can govern properly but all these have fallen on deaf ears. You and your president are lost as if you never expected to win the election. It is like you have a naked woman on your bed and you do not know what to do with or to her. Impotent losers you are

  15. But muzungu uyu niwa chabe-chabe. What a white man! Ndiye nchito boot licking Sata instead of formulating solutions for development. He is not even aware anymore that resignations are a waste of billions of kwacha which could have bought medicines for the sick.

  16. This is so shallow coming from Guy Scott. I agree with many bloggers on the fora but more so with #s 13 & 20. One does not need 90 days to fulfill commitment of having professionals in the civil service, diplomatic service and the like. All you need is Cabinet Office or the responsible dept to scrutinise CVs for all deserving candidates. We don’t need to wait for a year for our govt to implement that at least. We may wait for medicines, bumper harvest and others but if you put for qualified people in the right positions and set out proper policies awe sure we shall be in for development.
