  1. Don’t politicise people’s loss and grief.

It is sad for the Lewanikas.

May they find comfort in this time of untold difficult.

  2. Death is the natural order to the end of life. When a person has lived a long life, celebrate their passing. Mourning is for those who die young.

  3. It’s a difficulty job to be Republican President. If he kept quiet, some fools would have said what a President who can’t mourn? He says something, ati crocdile tears. What do you want him to do? Death is part of a human being, whether you like it or not you have to die. Ubupuba nobushilu, mulebusha mumayanda yenu.

  4. #4 Ka Princess, you don’t understand death because you haven’t died even once. Wait and experience it, and I bet you never wish to experience that loss once more.

  5. May the family have peace for one of the elders has now passed on to heaven.

She would have made her grandchildren smile just like your own grandmother does or done.
Just remember we all have this day coming and cannot stop it.

  6. She gave birth to some of the best brains this country has ever produced, don’t mind the fact those brains are not being fully utilised to it’s full potential because of the politics of the belly we have in this country. Seriously why would you people the likes of Inonge in foreign mission to do nothing while the likes of Dora Siliya are in gov, making policy? Inonge and Aka are giants of this great continent, Africa.

Thank you Bo musali muhulu bo Namaya, muzamaye hande and may your Soul RIP!

  7. how old was she. She must have lived long to have such old children. We don’t mourn but celebrate their lives

  9. THE THOUGHTS OF A PERSON ARE AN EXPRESSION OF THE WHOLE BEING. IF WHAT COMES OUT OF YOUR MIND IS DIRTY, THEN YOUR WHOLE BEING IS DIRTY. NO NORMAL PERSON WOULD REASON AS POORLY AS #1 AND #2. I WONDER WHAT THESE TWO BEINGS (IF AT THEY ARE HUMAN BEINGS) DO IN LIFE!

  10. there’s no need to pretend to mourn on tribal lines here, the woman was obviously too old because her children are great grandparents. for such an old timer we simply celebrate her life, i dont think her children even want this kind of pretense, she has finally gone to rest, she ate well i’m sure.

  11. May she rest in the Lord that she served and may He comfort her loved ones. I saw her recieve an honour at state house, at least she lived a full life and impacted her children positively.

  12. This is not politics and the President as the father of the Nation should mourn with all Zambians irrespective of their political inclination. This family is iconic in Zambia and any well meaning Zambian should appreciate the contribution they have made to this nation. Kuku go well and thank you for everything, “…..with long life will I satisfy you and show you my salvation.”

  13. NO1 and 2 whats wrong with you? The President shouldn’t sent his condolences? You are so full of bitterness please leave the President alone.
