Kalusha Hopes For Harmony

Share

Re-elected Faz president Kalusha Bwalya says he hopes that the association’s council will accept the outcome of Saturday’s elective AGM which saw him bounce back into the top job after beating his only challenger Emmanuel Munaile by 103 votes.

Returning officer Annie Nkaka from the Electoral Commission of Zambia declared Kalusha winner at Kitwe’s Moba Hotel slightly after mid-night after he polled 178 votes while Munaile received 73 votes.

Speaking after being given a new mandate, Kalusha said Faz was like one  family and should not have factions.

“I hope that (Faz) council will embrace the decision made here today because we are one family. In football there are no factions,” he said.

Kalusha has bounced back in the FAZ Exco alongside vice President Boniface Mwamelo,Treasurer Kelvin Mutafu and Executive Committee Member Lenny Nkhuwa.

Besides Nkhuwa, other elected Executive Committee members are Pivoty Simwanza,Lee Kawanu,Jeff Chipilingu,Richard Kazala, and Happier Munkondya.

He also took time to preach  about discipline.

“Let this be a warning, the new executive committee will not tolerate indiscipline from any member.” he added.

  1. Congrats to all. Losing candidates accept defeat and work together with the winners. Soccer development at all levels especially from the grassroots should be the focus now.

Lusha! Lusha! Lusha! This guy never ceases to impress.

  3. The biggest mistake people make is to under rate or despise a person, they thought Kalu was like most of those uneducated footballers whom one can push around, what a hard nut to crack, all the buggers have been left with tails between their legs.

  4. Seriously Munaile, how do you compete against somebody whose phone book contacts comprise names like Blatter,Pele (Brazil & Ghana),Hayatou,Mourinho,Mandela residence,Platini,Sata,RB,KK,Cafu,FIFA,CAF hotlines etc and they all on speed dial and your only V I P number in your phone is that of clerk of national assembly which never even rings now?

  5. @ No. 2. Please lets blog with maturity and respect of one another. It is ok to desagree and we should criticize with mutual respect. Let us grow up. Here we are not talking about the Barotseland issue but Faz. Stay within the topic and it does not matter who is in FAZ. God bless you.

In other words don’t question anything we do here, as we know how we do things inside this gents club, you just shut up and eat.. I’m god and nobody questions me.

  7. Kalusha you are an idkiot! Threatening does not work as long as you dealing with human resource! Invest your time in knowing what is causing these people to protest and improve on that!

Kalusha you never learn how to avoid conflicts in your FAZ and soccer fraternity at your level Kalusha (even though you didn’t do well with you grade twelve or academically) i expect you to learn from what you have passed thru. Threats have not worked before so how can they work now?

the more you threaten people in FAZ the more they will protest and rebel because they are not your kids nor relatives! We chipuba we! Chimambara iwe! Kabwa! Nzolo!

  8. Another 4 years with Kalu, hope there will be harmony in that association we expect to defend our cup pa south Africa in january 2013

  9. Demanding for discipline is not threatening, every working place, home or organisation worth its salt you ever go to there is always a call for discipline its only maybe a lunatic who would tolarate indiscipline even if Munaile had won he was going to say the same thing
