Kamanga right on FAZ rules prevailing during elective AGM

Share

Letter to The Editor:

I personally agree as a football administrator with the sentiments by the FAZ President Andrew Kamanga that only the constitution can bar people from standing.

All aspiring candidates should be subjected to layed down rules in order for them to be eligible.

That has been our tradition but l don’t know why it has become an issue now.

If you’re upright and have not committed a crime, why then should you runaway because of a mere mention of a Police officer.

We are governed by rules which were collectively agreed upon by the FAZ councillors. We are not like wild animals who practice Jungles laws.

Only those who will be eligible will be on the ballot paper.

Scrutiny and Integrity Test will be the order of the day.

All FAZ and FIFA rules will be applied as they are enshrined in the FAZ Constitution.

  1. Are you sure we are not like wild animals that practice Jungles laws? I mean, it’s an affront to some wild animals to compare them to administration of Lungu, Sata or the second term of the Chiluba regime. That *****ic move of bundling our national team on a plane hardly airworthy to fly to West Africa we worse than any wild animal can do. Ndimwe vinyama vya chiwewe, mwanya!

  2. Very disappointed with ZNBC TV interview with the new Copper Queens coach. Just imagine an hour long interview with somebody who has just come in. And the questions, my foot, she should reveal her tactics, plans and all the other things on arrival. And you could see the distress or fatigue with repetitive questions put across to her in different ways. FAZ, can you please take charge and start guiding on such. 20 to 30 minutes short burst welcome interview was all that was required.

    • Journalism has died because Tik Tok is more exciting. Who wants to watch a robot state broadcaster?Whether they are talking about politics or sport they are scared of government so they just wait for strings to be pulled

  3. Comment:kamanga stop thinking you own faz. Your time is up and this your idea of disadvantaging others from standing by using unfair rules tantamounts to be scared. You have equally commited a lot of offences while the time you are in faz and you don’t want to come and dance to its tune! Ba kamanga every football loving zambian is free to contest as faz president. That nonsense of integrity test is one way you want to looting faz money within yourselves including those hypocrites you calling councillors. You are all thieves kamanga and we this time want a level play field not that rubbish spitting here. We want equal opportunity in running football. Just step aside coz your time is up. Do you want someone who will cover your wrong doings up when you leave faz. Anyone has to be on ballot.

    • Rather strong allegations. Do you have facts to prove them? Or just mydsligging to stain the charecter so you have a chance at being at the helm? We already have one that had to barred from standing and semingly wants to find his way back to the stage.
