Kitwe United’s chances of winning promotion were on Thursday frustrated by Zesco Luapula who held them to a 1-1 draw in a delayed Faz Division One North match at Kaole Stadium in Mansa.
United made a false start when midfielder Allan Kasongo gave the Buchi Boys a first half lead.
Late in the second half Mwafilwe Kambole poked in an equaliser to help the Mansa side earn a point at home.
United have increased their tally to 49 points while Zesco have 24 points.
Lime Hotspurs commands the league table with 68 points and second placed Kalulushi Modern Stars have 53 points with an unresolved abandoned game against Mufulira Wanderers.
well done zesco
Is ZESCO going to sponsor teams in all provinces it operates? This is a waste of resources, zesco mansa, zesco choma, zesco chipata et tal nonsense
@2 WTF, its called social responsibility my brother.
#2 WTF, I think you never ever paid any electric bill before. When you grow up you will learn what companies need to pay back. Sponsoring football is creating jobs, the boys receives utuma allowances, somebody get paid to maintain ground, someone prints tickets, and mothers bake fitumbuwa to sell along the road to soccer funs. I can’t teach you more, just keep going to school and study, stop commenting on the internet.
#2 y dnt u sponser them
