Power Dynamos coach Beston Chambeshi says a congested fixture schedule will not distract his side’s quest to defend their Faz Super Division league title.
Ahead of Wednesday’s rescheduled week 22 match against Green Buffaloes in Lusaka, Power have played three games in the last eight days including one coming up this Saturday.
Chambeshi said Power has no option but to play their remaining scheduled league matches.
“We have played a lot of games in the past, so this can’t disturb us, we just have to play all our remaining games. We are encouraging our players that this happens in football they just have to remain focused,” Chambeshi said.
“This is not easy, as coaches our plan is being affected but we can’t relax.”
After Saturday’s Barclays Cup action, Power are holed up in Lusaka preparing for their mid-week game against Buffaloes at Woodlands.
The defending league champions are second on the table with 53 points and are one point behind leaders Zanaco with three games left to play before the championship can be decided.
