Striker Collins Mbesuma has been named by coach Herve Renard in the 24-member Chipolopolo squad that will face South Africa on November 14 in the Nelson Mandela Challenge at Soccer City in Johannesburg.
FAZ Spokesperson Erick Mwanza released the names in Lusaka on Wednesday.
Mbesuma who last featured for Zambia at the 2012Africa Cup has been impressive since joining South African giants Orlando Pirates in June and has so far scored four goals at his new club.
Renard has also recalled teenage midfielders Mukuka Mulenga and Shadreck Malambo.
Influential midfielder Rainford Kalaba has also returned to the squad after missing the 2013 African Cup qualifier against Uganda in
October.
