South African club Bloemfontein Celtic coach Clinton Larsen says he is hoping that Zesco United striker Alfred Luputa will impress during his three week trial at the club.
The Zesco forward is this Thursday set to fly to South Africa to attend trials at Celtic and the 21-year-old will return to Zambia on December 4.
“We have been looking for a top striker since last season and we will not stop until we find our man. But we hope Luputa is the right man,” he told Kickoff.
“We do have good strikers in our team but we need a top international striker that will give the likes of Lerato Manzine competition upfront,” Larsen added.

Some things never cease to amase me. Why should this guy be attaending trials at Bloem Celtic instead of being signed right away? ZESCO Utd is even better than Bloem. Celtics. But ubupina bubi.
