President Michael Sata says the ruling Patriotic Front (PF) must continue the fight against corruption, social injustice and inequality in order to promote social order and peace for the Zambian people.

The Head of State said political mobilization and consciousness must remain the cornerstone of the Patriotic Front.

Giving his view on the newly introduced PF training module for members, which is under the theme: The History and Development of the Patriotic Front 2001 – 2011, President Sata observed that the history of a political organization forms the bond of identity with its members and supporters at large.

“It is also the basis for its values, ideals and aspirations for posterity. The documentation of the Patriotic Front history covered in this training module and others is intended to show and encourage our members that they can continue to achieve in the future more than what they have achieved in the 10 years of existence of our organization,” President Sata said.

“It is our members’ concerted efforts, sacrifice, and unfailing faith and hard work which gave the Patriotic Front the strength to dislodge the MMD from power on 20TH September, 2011. Our members have proved that unity of purpose, discipline and hope in the future of our country and its people can lead to victory against all human odds. They saw hope where there was despair.”

[pullquote]The party is the only vehicle for the improvement of the living standards of the Zambian people.[/pullquote]

This is contained in a press statement made available to the media by George Chellah special assistant to the president for press and public relations.

The President said the PF’s electoral victory of 2011 should be considered as only the beginning of a long journey.

“The party must, therefore, continue the fight against corruption, social injustice and inequality in order to promote social order and peace for our people and the world. The transformation of our party from an opposition political party into that of the governing political authority of the country must not betray the aspirations of its members,” President Sata said.

[pullquote]I therefore, wish to appeal to the leadership of the party at all levels and our members in general to ensure their invaluable contribution through their active personal participation in all political education programmes whenever called upon to do so[/pullquote]

“The party is the only vehicle for the improvement of the living standards of the Zambian people. It must, therefore, continue to be relevant to the people’s day to day life and welfare at all times. It must inspire and give them hope.”

The Head of State noted that political mobilization and consciousness must remain the cornerstone of the party.

“They constitute the engine for the survival of the organization now and in the future. However, political consciousness must be frequently renewed through continuous political education and participatory programmes by all members to enable them to respond to the dynamic challenges which confront the party. These challenges are cross-cutting from the section up to the Central Committee without exception,” the President said.

“I therefore, wish to appeal to the leadership of the party at all levels and our members in general to ensure their invaluable contribution through their active personal participation in all political education programmes whenever called upon to do so by those responsible for the conduct and promotion of these training module lectures. Remember the adage, that ‘knowledge is power’.”

    • What a mess, a Press assistant to president at State House also handles the PF secretariat?
So Kabimba’s office at PF offices has been moved to State house?
The Cabinet Offices should re-write the job description of George Chellah.

    • MAPS, HOW AND WHY ARE THEY IN OFFICE? IT’S FOR THOSE REASONS. WHEN YOU ARE OVERSEAS TRY TO VISIT YOUR COUNTRY REGULARLY TO SEE HOW ZAMBIANS HAVE STARTED TO DEVELOP THE COUNTRY AND WHAT THEY ARE DOING. DON’T JUST BARK YOU BULL DOGS WITHOUT CANINES.

    • Look at shadow of Sata, if he walked in front of projector in a cinema, there would be injuries from people scarping everywhere, running away from presumably a Serpent, ngoshe, in the house!!!

  1. Whats this nonsense? Can someone remind Sata he has a country to run,he is president of Zambia not just PF…tell us something to move the country forward we are not interested in propanganda we want food, roads schools, medicine in hopistals. Not this abstract talk of fighting corruption and world peace.

  2. ARREST GBM and Winter then you have my support..Not just talking about HH ‘s personal wealth all the time. Is it envy or jealousy BOSS?

  3. What module, could someone put that in the English I would understand. As a PhD student sometimes some-words intentionally pass me by, I have little patience grinding the language I would call political drivel.

What is the moral of this story in no more than two sentences, please?
    What is he introducing ?

    Thanks

    • Alright, Mushota
It is good to see that you are alive and still part of us. I sat slowly and sunk deep into my seat at one stage clouded with negative expectations about your recent sickness.
Hopefully, you have fully recuperated from your sickness and remember to be constructive and insult as and when necessary.
Insults are part of our ordinary culture, otherwise this word ‘insult’ would not have existed.
I respect the person/s who coined this word ‘insult’
Also, big ups to all those people who insult where and when necessary.

    • I am better, thank you very much and please for the record, I am not pregnant yet anyway. But I would love to be a mother…

I am here to read constructive contributions.

      Thanks

  4. No 4, Are you blind? Cant you see hospitals, schools, roads, etc being constructed? Do not be negative for nothing!!!!!

    • @henry munene, just click on the pictures of the week and see how people are suffering. What hospitals are you talking about?

    • RB’s projects and you rejected him like a dog and you are trying to follow him in retirement. What are the new ideas in the module? The words so nicely spoken by the president are not delivering the message but mere emotional expressions. As s student of Msc degree, I have learnt that some writers can deliver emotional messages but when you try to understand the unprintable which is what the really what is the meaning of the message…..it’s all emptiness.

    • Hospitals? sick child munene go back to the village… mwanawasa’s projects..pf done nothing yet. what pf history by the way? history that will read: sata was so bitter when he was not made mmd president by chiluba such that he decided to leave and form his own party’ …is that the sort of party history you want to blobber about???!

  5. These are times when I am glad of being out of Zambia. This man has never made any sense and clearly lacks direction. He wants to come out and sound like an intellectual and he always falls short. Does he even sit down and think through these speaches before he opens his mouth? He is now in his second year in power and yet he is still drunk with the 2011 victory.

    • My man understand Sata is a Patient and a reason we are being fed by Statements from his mouth piece (George Chellah). When Sata appears on the cameras he will be castigating his opponents and revealing their wealthy as if he (Sata) was hindered by his concubines to get rich shame on Sata!

    • Mushota,
Everyone is a patient, we all pose a certain amount of mad genes in our DNA. Otherwise if one argues that he/she is not mad, then that inmdividual is living in self-denial.
A module is a self-contained component of a system or a collection of methods and constants etc.
In the case of the ‘PF training module’, one would employ a number of interpretations to fit the intended usage of the term in question. Further, one wonders which available interpretations of ‘module’can possibly marry what Mr. George Chellah is attempting to convey to his readers. The available literature concerning the aforesaid word divorces Mr. George Chellah’s application of ‘module’.
Perhaps, you should put your questions to Mr. Chellah so that he can reconstruct his phrases/story in Bemba. Chella…

    • Boom, you use big words (by your own standards_ carelessly.
You need to read a lot more newspapers and different blogs
We learn a lot more at times not by opening our mouths but by paying attention
Your contribution is too hard to digest with little meaning (bottom line)
Instead of embarking on irrelevant terms, like he/she why not use ‘one’

It could take me 2 hours to get to Pretoria from Johannesburg, but it could also take you 4 hours, point is why not embark on a quicker way. After time is money, and people are by default impatient, especially the elite ones

      Just a thought..?

      Thanks

    • Alright my friend, tell me what are my standards? What are your standards?
My friend, I am not a product of half-brained education and I do not have time to read newspapers but I write articles and publications. I write three/four publications a year, there is no essence in newspapers or that which can marry my attention.
What articles have you written so far or publications?
I married liberating discourse which is imbued with healthy literature.
Read more and learn more so as to transcend the limits of the most taught.

    • @Mushota#11.3
Let me show you one of your mistakes among many.
“After time is money,….”What is this, Mushota?
The correct sentence is as follows below.
      ‘After all, time is money,…….’

  6. this old man is a really a disgrace to this country. PF module! my foot! someone’s brain is been eaten way by prostate cancer. GOD HELP US

  7. And why does he just send us tuma love letters through that Chella person of his…we want to see him talk and the body language is also important for us citizens to believe his lies,,sha.

  8. Congratulations, NO POLITICAL PARTY IN AFRICA HAS EVER COME UP WITH SUCH AN IDEA , TRAIING ITS MEMBERS WOW THIS IS EXCELLENT, I THINK AFTER A SUCCESSFUL EXECUTION OF THE PROGRAMME, WE SHUD CONFER THE PRESIDENT a PHD in POLITICS, NOT FAKE PHD’S CHILUBA, RB KAUNDA HAD, THIS IS A HOME IDEA VIVA PF

    • Stop using capital letters I know you probably not intelligent enough to know why someone educated wouldnt resort to that and I am sure your parents are equally probably not as elite, but drop he caps.
It serves no purpose and undermine you and your contribution

      Grow up

      Thanks

    • 14.2. Mushota, I normally don’t comment on yours. But if you insult Malino’s or any others parents, I will get involved strongly and bitterly and you know what I am made of.
Yes Maliso, no shouting, just write normally, and don’t copy from Ba Sata’s capital lettered speeches.

  9. This is a PF thing but why is it coming from ka Chella who is paid by us tax payers and not from their secretariat? What comedy is this?

  10. @ MUSHOTA
CLEANING SERVICES ARE FREE OF CHARGE BECOUSE AT THE END OF THE DAY WE BOTH GONNA ENJOY!!!
    WHAT DO YOU SAY?

  11. Sounds like what Kabimba went to study recently in communist Cuba to pave way for a one party dictatorship and the UNIP style party and its government (PIG) trash.

  12. ka mushota. you are an ***** who deserve to be banned here. someone saitd it, ask those colonial master there not us iwe mushindo obe

  13. i wont to hear more abount mushota come on guys you click intresting we dont need jokers when thy are serious issues sort out wapya mushota

  14. In a statement made available to the media by Georgy Chellah?
The Party and its Government in broad day light.
Where is the opposition in this country?
    This country Sucks

    • Ka Mushota, you indeed an I.D.I.O.T! You can’t see sense in what Teddy is saying? Let me break it down for your thick skull-this materail, whatever ukwa is calling it is a PF thing. Chella is emplyed by Govt. to work for the presidency and not the PF.So simply put,the statement introducing this trash document should have come from a PF official and not a Govt. official.Wanvela manje?!

    • Your quickness in jumping to the defence of an ignorant person, gives it away that you are the same person.
Try harder next time, too easy to work out.
I am only helping you out I thought in pointing out that your pantomime expressions portrayed you as a nincompoop individual. And yes indeed you are.

      Thanks

  15. I have never understood why people get a pit stop on my comments and undermine me considering my education and soon PhD

Respect is reciprocated people, if you respect me , I will do like wise, name calling defaming and belittling me serves no purpose. Respond to me by replying to the comments I have raised

I realise I am more educated and I rub shoulders with people you would probably only see on TV but stop using this medium of poking me when really, It is not my fault that I am fortuitously engaged and found in the circles I found

    I am Zambian after all

    Thanks

    • Respect? Are you giving us lectures about respect? Or are you now tutoring us in this so called new tutorial module called respect?
I have seen your above notes and there are all about yourself and your other-self. You have left out the others and you view us as ‘them’ and ‘they’
Why should I willingly accept your impositions after reading what you want ‘them’ and ‘they’ to subscribe to.
Write all footnotes or end-notes properly, maybe you can make sense to me.

    • Mushota
What is this? “Respect is reciprocated people,…….” Notice where you paused, you should have paused after ‘reciprocated’ not where you paused, immediately after the word ‘people’. The misplacements of punctuation marks alter/change the meaning of your sentence and there is no such sentences in the English literature, except in your head.

    • WHICH PART OF ZAMBIA DO DO YO COME FROM ?I SERIOUSLY DOUBT IF MUSHOTA IS INDEED WHAT SHE CLAIMS TO BE,A WOMAN AND A ZAMBIAN.PROVE IT!

  16. The few times I have read some of the comments on LT or ZWD, my heart bleeds to see how ineffective the Zambian educational system has turned out. People failing to string two sentences together. The grammar attrocious, never mind being able to articulate a point. The only redeeming issue is that I am able to distinguish education from intelligence. One is acquired, while the other is inherent. Some of you would make your teachers cry at seeing what a waste of effort it was in trying to educate you. Like rain falling in the desert…

    • …being unable to articulate the point?
Either way you look like you live n a glass house, stop throwing stones!

On prima facie, your grammar is absurd and your incoherent sentences are hurtful, obnoxious, and loathsome.

I suggest your stop scratching your belly and accept people who in all honest are no more different than you are, in what you have observed.

      Just a tip…?

      Thanks

    • Mushota, alright you are enjoying yourself albeit most of your victims are docile.
Your above victim has just been describing you or nearly describing your sort, albeit he/she did not realise that you are sensetive to correct criticisms.
The above latest victim is coherent and, sumised everything about you, thus far your motivation to hate him/her is based on the courage which has been flaunted.
You must stop wasting your efforts and time on reminding us about your ‘PhD’ studies and stop referring to yourself as a ‘PhD student’. She/he is a PhD candidate.

  17. Why can he let his Party spokesman deliver such partisan vague policies which are hand written by either inexperienced PA Chellah or Kabimba.
I don’t think the president would even understand this statement himself, just like he does not understand what being allergic to corruption is.

  18. Waste of time … your kaponya members can’t read. I have no time to learn history of a party like PF. MMD yes because they were the pioneers of democracy in zambia. What has PF pioneered?

  19. Well said ba presdo”The party is the only vehicle for the improvement of the living standards of the Zambian people.” do not get destructed from political failures the like of HH and Nevers.

    • Well said. You might win this year Oscar for bigest bs endorsement. Keep up. We need more dogmatic *****s to enlighten our greem prospects under present administration.

  20. Chairman Mao had his Little Red Book which decorated every house in China. Hitler had his mein kampf, which adorned every dwelling place in German. Gaddafi had his Green Book which every Libyan had to be seen to revere. That is the way of Dictators. Not to be out done, ours has come up with “The History and Development of the Patriotic Front 2001 – 2011”, a, a training manuel to be placed at every work place: a precursor to ‘The Times and Works of the Great Leader Michael Sata’, soon to be published, and treated as every citizen’s bible.

  21. Rubbish, training manual in what ? how to beat opposition cadres. No explanation as to contents of training manual, what a party president

  22. Is Chellah suposed to be issuing PF party statements? There must be a clear demarcation between government work and PF party work.
When the wick rule people groan.

    • Never my brother I ve said it here before. He is a civil servant and as such has nothing to do with Patriotic Front but because Dickson Jere Richard Sakala did these wrong things the PF’s policy is to follow- suit not to correct. Remember last week Guy Scott told us he had to go to Livingstone using govt resources because those are his benefits wrong as they may be?

    • Can we get NAREP to harp on this?? This is since the old opposition know that Chellah is doing something wrong but they wont do anything about it.

  23. I could join the PF just so I can become its President and then clean it up top to bottom because given Zambians’ character I can see the party being in power for the next 15 years at least. However Iam not a muzungu wanga so I wont be allowed any ruck on that ladder.

  24. ” The victory of the PF in 2011 is only the beginning of a long journey”, to what? Answer; to oblivion and self destruction. Training module on how to? 1. Expose the wealthy of your political opponents. 2. Cause unnecessary by elections. 3 how to be” swear in – in chief. 4 How to fill political and diplomatic positions with my ethnic grouping only. 4. How to disappear in thin air after an AU conference. 5 How to instruct my ministers to deliberately stalk ethnic hatred among the people. 6. How to flout the public order act with impunity. On and on and on.

  25. @ Bonzo… I like your observation above. I would also like to add that these hollow statements written for Sata by Chellah are just a way of distracting people from the real issues and struggles. They are devoid of substance and do not show any concrete grounded plans that would make real life progress for most vulnerable Zambians.

  26. Mushota and your colleagues, you have exchanged a lot within a short. Of course you seem to know each better and I am just learning of you today. From your discussions I tend to gather that you are highly learned individuals and defininately there so much we can learn from you. I rather have a different view relating to the way you are making use of amassed knowledge, you air more into challenging each other and I ask you to think over it….I don’t know if your education is benefiting anyone with regards to the way you presenting yourselves here. I think there is a better way of talking to each other.

  27. Bushe shikulu amenso yalifimba? let him rest. guys next time vote for a young vibrant man not inkotizo, all people clocking 60 and above must be retired for the top job. we need a 45 or 50 year president so we can see him grow while he is still health not to pile work on heart patients.
