Kitwe’s Garden Park Stadium and Lechwe International School Grounds have been added to the list of training venues for the COSAFA Cup Zambia 2013.
According to the tournament schedule accessed by LT Sports on Thursday, Garden Park and Lechwe Grounds have been added to the list of training venues that include Sunset Stadium in Lusaka and Kitwe’s Arthur Davies Stadium.
The regional tournament runs from July 6-20.
Match venues for the COSAFA Cup Zambia 2013 remains Levy Mwanawasa Stadium,
Nkoloma Stadium, Nkana Stadium and Arthur Davies Stadium.
Meanwhile, Nkana Stadium in Kitwe will host Zambia’s opening match at the COSAFA Cup, which is a quarter-final clash against Mozambique on 14 July.
On the same day, Nkana Stadium will be the venue for the quarter-final match between Angola and Group B winners to kick off at 13:00 hours.
Kitwe, Ndola and Lusaka are the hosting cities for the regional tournament that bounces back after three years of absence.
it only makes sence that kabwe has been removed ,look at the accomodation challenges it would have faced,let alone training facilities 4 the visiting teams!i only hope kcm will renovate either konkola or nchanga stadium and with possibly livingstone also getting new stadia and zambia will then be able to host any tournament,with excellent backup facilities only bettered by southafrica on this continent.
