“Our departed colleague and brother gallantly served this country during his distinguished career. Therefore, his illustrious services will be deeply missed by all of us. We beseech the Almighty God to grant the bereaved family comfort and strength as they face this tragic loss”
Never heard of him
Why the president is talking about him, is beyond me.
RIP though,
Thanks
You have the internet at your disposal. Make full use of it. Dumb a$$
Obviously! You were still having snot wiped off your nose and not yet in school, when he was Governor of BoZ.
Pa nsaka tapabula chiwelewele.
It’s sad that when the man was the Bank Governor you were not yet born, nevertheless, spend some time looking at the History of Zambia’s Economy
Well said @Galileo Galilei just about sums up what I think of…
@Mushota
Shut the fcuk up beyotch. He is a relative to some of us.
Go suck your father’s you-know-what beyotch.
RIP Mr Mulaisho.
That’s probably
because you do not read widely. I cannot believe that you have never heard of him
real heroes are hard to let go. Mukalamba have a presant rest and that is if souls rest. We will miss you.
I even forgot or didn’t know he was Bank Governor, I only knew by his fantastic books. I will read again tonight “The Smoke That Thunders”. T
Dumb #1 as usual. Anyway, we studied his book in our Form 4/5 Literature in English before abashibula pansaka were born. We will miss you Mr. Mulaisho.
RIP son of the soil… these are the heroes of Zambia
AS RIGHTLY PUT BY OUR HEAD OF STATE, IT IS WITH DEEP REGRET ABOUT MR. MULAISHO’S PASSING ON.
DOMINIC AND RONALD PENZA (MHSRIEP) MADE SUCH A GOOD TEAM TO THE AMAZEMENT OF DEVELOPING COUNTRIES. IN FACT ZAMBIA BECAME A CONSULTANT ON HOW ECONOMIC GROWTH HAD PROGRESSED IN A SHORT TIME.
HE WAS ZAMBIA’S GALLANT SON! MHSRIEP!
‘Therefore, his illustrious services will be deeply missed by all of us.’
I don’t know why people say silly things when a person dies. How can you miss someone’s services when they were not serving? Dominic Mulaisho has been missed since the time he left public service. His death don’t change nothing.
You absolutely right. Its a written speech by some dumb presidential aide and the Prez mechanically runs through to look like they really care.
The lesson to be learnt is that they should practice the things they will miss,- the good values and virtues- by his passing on and not mere rhetoric.
It is a good age to go.
Don’t say that.
Your Sata is 76 yrs old, just 3 years from that age you think enough-is-enough.
Good natured and intellegent son of the soil
he was the worst economist Zambia has produced, sad news- what can anyone talk of UNIP economics which Sata is bringing back slowly, let him rest in pieces for ill economic advise to the fat stinking ***** kk and thieving diry kafupi chluba.
However his books are good
I agree with you Kelvin S the man was a worst economist. It is sad to note that his home village is so poor with no any major development to talk about. Infact the late Mulaisho was so ashamed to identify himself with is home village. A blame him for making a wost decision to aprove the construction of then Luangwa boys secondary school in an area far from a water source. The late Dominic Mulaisho comes from Kaunga area in Luangwa, Feira. Desipte holding such a key position in government the man failed to initiate any developmental project in his area. Just look at the Luangwa Feira road. The road is so bad to the extend that it takes almost 4 hours to cover a distance of 87km. His major contribution to Zambia can be seen in all the worst economical and political decisions KK used to make.
Some names simply disappeared after the 1991 change of govt. Evans Willima, Leonard Chivunho, Dominic Mulaisho, zacks musonda, david matongo etc. Some of these old men were cast aside and suffered quitely for the economic ills of KK’s 2nd republic. Moral of this reminder is do your job diligently but do not take it as a wife (till death do us part). Always have a plan B. If critical things are not adding up or do not gel with your conscience master enough courage to QUIT BEFORE ITS TOO LATE. Having said that may the soul of Mr MULAISHO REST IN PEACE
Thank you for you marvelous controbution to this country bakalamba. May your wonderful soul rest in eternal bliss. May the good Lord keep your family together during this trying moment.
May His soul rest in Peace. These were the Cream of Educated Zambian’s, @ the time the country had few graduates.
My Condolences to the Mulaisho family.
MHSRIP. What was the problem?

This piece of writing presents clear idea in support of the new viewers of blogging, that really how to do running a blog.
Thank you to all for your condolences and kind words about my father – Dominic Mulaisho. I was touched by your words of appreciation and gratitude for the work and service my father did for his beloved country Zambia.
May god bless you and thanks for your prayers.
Yours sincerely,
Fiona Mulaisho
I had the great honour of working with your father while he was BOZ Governor. He could be frustrating – the meetings that never came to an end, as he sought to develop his own staff – but of his intellect and integrity there could be no question. And I’ll always recall the disappointed look on his face when it became clear that I, a mere young Anglo, knew far less Shakespeare than he did. I was ambivalent about leaving Zambia as the end of my term approached but Mulaisho’s dismissal in early 1995, paying the price for taking a stand made it (sadly) easier to go.
Hello, I just wanted apt mention, I disagree Your post doesn’t make any sense.
