The United Party for National Development (UPND) says it is sad that the Patriotic Front government cannot accept the wrongs they are doing.
UPND Chairperson for International Relations Mulondwe Muzungu has told QFM that even if the PF continue denying the wrongs they are committing, Zambian people are taking note of them.
Mr. Muzungu says it is clear that everything the PF is doing is being done for their own interest and not the poor Zambians who voted them.
He adds that it is sad that the PF has turned out to be a disappointment to the people’s expectations reneging on their campaign promises.
Mr. Muzungu reminds the PF not to forget that 2016 is just around the corner and that the same people that voted them into power can vote them out.

. running a blotted cabinet.
. disregarding Parliament in appointments like in the case of the Chief Justice
. opposition parties being denied permits to hold public meetings.
. killing innocent civilians
. political thurgary on religious gatherings

There is no justification at all for the Egyptians to treat their democratically elected President the way they did. They keep calling it a revolution, but it is far from that. What is happening in Egypt is a dangerous ploy by people with hidden interests to destabilize the country and stagnate development. Egyptians should have given Morsi a chance to perform!
UPND has nothing to offer to the Zambian people, Instead of promoting the policies of the party, they are still fixated with PF 2011 victory! They keep talking about 2016 as if it will be an easy victory for them but the reality on the ground is indicating the opposite. They are not breaking any new ground and that will be a problem in 2016 because their former stronghold province has started to fracture and go to other parties. These careless press briefings without any substance are not helping the party, they are undermine it. Quality not quantity briefings are required and comments on rumours should be avoided by the president. A rumour turns into a lie if it doesn’t pan out and wise politicians avoids because even the courts do not accept them.

yes, we are watching PF closely just as we watched MMD…..but the problem i have with UPND is that they said the same things about RB whom they are protecting today, so how do we know that they wont turn around and say the oppose once they are in power? i for one, i dont trust these guys at all!
