Sata and RB look very comfortable with each other! As if there is no beef between the 2. I think its a case of smiling at the enemy but mumutima its “kuti na kwipaya iwe”
after 3 days of national mourning we have to see pictures as well?
Politicians are like that. While cadres will be busy killing each other the leaders usually wine and dine with one another behind the scenes. Remember the praises Sata showered on Henry Banda at Chilufya Sata’s funeral?
This is very confusing to me… Sata is health, Sata and RB are great friends after all,, the only person isolated is my Hillcrest technical school mate Dr Nevers mumber, even mauren and kawalala Regina chiluba are friends VERY STRANGE!!!!!. B.Y ..rest in peace!! you have made me see things
@Nubian princes lol i guess. @MOP i agree with you. They seem so lovey dovey its not even funny.
i have witnessed fon calls involving these politicians from the highest level and from opposing sides…it reinforced my decision not to participate in political beef..things are totally diferent in realitty
Too many pics of Kaseba….Iye Reginah uluse….looks like you are now back to earth, even forgot you exist.
at dr.maureen mwanawasa? since when? with a program from edith cowan university ka? awe epashili pakuleka. keep it up dr.mwanawasa.
LMFAO!! 🙂
BaMuka Yama Sata too noisy, napchililo kufwa mu nseko?
I see Judas iscariot.
I just love how funerals brings these politicians together.Only moment when they put aside their egos and political differences.Rip Mr Mwila.
Let these funerals continue to make politicians behave and love one another. Sakeni atishani apo.
@Saulosi & your Mpangula, mwakulalowa… why you want the PF to start dying?
And that Sata you always wish something dark, he is in GREATEST healthy. Forget funerals, wish for by-elections.
RB is a true diplomat,he can smile and laugh with someone who is persecuting him with ease.Admirable!
Come on you stop pretending look at the coin from both sides. Imagine RB insulted Sata and called him names but he can still talk and smile at him. These people they simply put political differences aside during such mourning times. SO here there is nothing like RB is a diplomat, fyabupubafye ifyo mune!
Am actually teary just seeing how the president and the former RB, interact with each other, i wish it was under different circumstances, i hope this is a turning point for these important men of our history and let by gones be by gones.
God rest your soul BY on another note….. i dont see the difference in the appearances btwn Sata and RB, they both look healthy, with the news we read somewhere you would think “the walking dead” would appear different from the living! God grant you good health Sata and let the devil be shamed!
You are right Cindy, UKWA looks good. Its actually his ministers who are fuelling speculations about his health by endorsing and unendorsing him. Ukwa is also wrong we did not vote for him to be sitted in plot 1 as if it is an isolation ward. We want to see and hear our president preside over serious issues in the country. His sillence on many issues is worrying…from this, we cant be wrong to say something is cooking in pf…but time will bring everything in the open
@cindy baibe

Sorry BY rest in peace
Mambala wasosa bwino sana mune! Kanshi na ba Cindy balikwata amano mwe!
u dont know the half of it…let me give u a clue… imagine micheal kaingu making a fon call to sylvia masebo and the presido in the same hour,on a weekend wen he is drunk and they lough abt it as tho they are not the people throwing jabs at each other during the day in the tabloids,,to top it off,he puts both calls on speaker so we know its them because we know how these people sound like..his argument?to prove that things may not be what we think they are amongst them…sound fictitious???i can even tell u wat they talked abt.dont partcipate in political beef because sooner than later, these people will be working together if they arent aready
As a lips reader, sata must have been telling rb that……………..
Is Ala Bee a Muslim?
Mutebo wanchito i order u with immediate effect to enter a nolle in the RB cases u understand he is the only friend i have its an order.
After BY had been put to rest, I have no doubt those who attended his burial went back to their homes feeling relieved that finally our politicians have realized the value of putting aside their differences in moments like this. The absence of political violence and the friendly interaction of the current president and the immediate past president is something that all peace loving Zambians are happy about. Personally, I am happy to see President Sata and former president RB demonstrate such kind of maturity and level-headedness. It was simply inspiring, to say the least.
BA LUSAKATIMES WHERE ARE THE PICTURES OF THE MWILA FAMILY? BUSHE NGA BA PRESIDENT ATTENDS A FUNERAL NINSHI NI ALL EYES ON HIM
jealous!!!
The pics were taken by Thomas Nsama (former Post photographer) who is now presidential photographer, so don’t expect anything else from him. He is like the other guy writing press statements
@ShortCake
Bamm! You are absolutely and fantastically Fcuking Correct!
Thank You.
Leave Thomas alone!!
no comment Rest in peace
Please dont insult me. This is a sincere question. Where was HH, Chipimo, and other oppositiopn leaders? Or did the cameran, or indeed LT do a selective documentation?
SELELA UKO NOTUPUBA TUNOBE SWAINI BUSHE APA PALI AMA POLITIKISI.ULEKWATA AMANO NABASULA BABIYO.

Bonse muli fipuba.
SATA RB COMBINATION IS MEANT FOR THE NEXT BYE-ELECTIONS IN EASTERN PROVINCE…. AS IF.
Boma Ni Boma! All eyes are on the President! Whether you like him or not! Appreciate that Sata and RB appeared to be in friendly jackets. This is good and healthy for our nation.
Boma ni boma my foot! PF Cadre mentality! Boma should fear and respect its people, not the other way round!
this is not a funeral in pictures but a photoshoot of HEMCS and RB
RB na SATA… awe no further comments
I’m surprised at the insinuations that the President is sick. The man looks very health.
Ever heard of the saying, “chikome kome chankhuyu, mkati muli nyerere”? Basically, not all that glitters is gold.
Lets have state funerals every week. They seem to have a positive side.
Betrayal, ill-will and mistrust are more evident on the faces of RB and Sata than those stage-managed smiles. No wonder the photographer dwelt more on them than the bereaved family. In setswana we have a saying, ‘meno masweu polao e tshega’, meaning he who smiles at you with his white teeth may be plotting your death.
Picture No 7. ..GBM… I put it to you, you are the one positioning yourself to be president! Just look at the way you make sure you are standing very close to Sata.
pwahahahahahaahahahaaaaaa…….
Lusakatimes was BY’s family at this church service? If yes then where are the pictures of them?. Mulebako serious naimwe, you concentrated on Sata and RB forgetting that this was about his family and friends putting him to rest
Don’t get involved Mr Sata & RB always play chimbuya.
Thandiwe has started to bleach her blackness off ka, She now has a brownish glow. bati, skin cancer yena nga yaisa takwaba ati muli bandalama. Tayangasha.
Great photo opportunity for politicians of all sorts! A combined public rally requiring no police permit. This is why it is important to make funerals private. The Mwilas are nowhere to be seen … why?
And where is the family? Even if this a state funeral, cant they honor us with pictures of the family. They seem totally over shadowed by all these politicians.
MHSRIP
Yes Old Grey, humble as ever, just loved that guy…
Where is Kabimba? Is he on the outside looking in on Ukwa’s inner circle?
Not even one picture of the family sure!! Lack of class
Not even one picture of the family, shuwa!! Lack of class
Hypocrites!
Only nice to each other during funerals?
Life is too short!
Let us be nice to each other!
RIP BY!
I did not know that Lusaka times was PF. Why didnt you just say Sata’s pictures at he funeral
Good pictures I just wonder what watchgaru are writing now about President Sata after they saw him at this funeral. RB and Sata both look great. But pic# 25 this 2 people in that picture looks lonely.
sorry to burst everyone’s bubble. i have reliable information that sata had a kidney transplant the last time he sneaked out and had a post op ‘incident’ when he was recuperating at state house
AND?
Having a kidney transplant is not as impossible as finding snow in the Sahara desert. In our part of the work people have every human organ you can think of starting with heart, lungs eyes etc. and they live their lives to the full. India has a lot of people with one Kidney because they sold one of theirs for money. In fact the success we have had in the western world is a combination of lungs and heart transplant. So if the Pres has new kidneys then even better! It means he has 50 + years to go!
Where GBM is Winter cant come near .Sata has given GBM all the blessings he knows the gams of Winter and CO
Thandiwe and her funny outfits! One would think she is the oldest of the former first wives. Is that what happens when one is married to an old man?
How we wish these leaders could come together on national issues not just funerals. They should learn to unite in the nations interest instead of wasting tax payers money fighting each other all the time.
You copied the whole sentence from the one with Dr Christine Kaseba. Pasted it to edit for Maureen Mwanawasa, You end up promoting her to being a Dr aswell.
Laziness at work is a serious offence. why not type everything than copy and paste comands.
Me i like state funerals, they bring enemies together when are we going to have another one especially for Hinde-bwana Hassociation of Hangwende cultural Hensemble?
Grey yes Grey Zulu, it is great to see him around we need to see some of these first generation politicians, Zambia is a great nation unity is the key to keep flowing together and love one another as a nation, Zambia is ours let us love our land
