Reports are emerging that Mr Mwamba wants his predecessor Amos Malupenga arrested following the cancellation of the tender due to irregularities bordering on corruption.

Mr Mwamba said government only wants to ensure that it delivers the digital migration project to Zambians on time before the deadline.

He said the cancellation of tender for digital migration will not affect Zambia’s attainment of the June 2015 deadline.

Mr. Mwamba told Journalists in Lusaka that his ministry is considering reconstituting the taskforce on digital migration.

He clarified that there is no witch hunt in the cancellation of the tender saying government only wants to ensure that it delivers the project to Zambians on time.

Mr. Mwamba also revealed that his ministry will not suspend any officials who were involved in the securing of the tender.

  1. Malupenga is corrupt. When he was at Post mmd mps could only be covered if they gave him some money.I doubt whether he will be accepted back at the Past Newspaper .

    • It is not only Malupenga who is corrupt, all the Post Newspaper boys and girls now incorperated in PF govt balepakilafye ba nkusa. I wish someone should fire them to go back to Bwinjimfumu road starting with Mwenya Chellah and all the 43 former Post newspaper workers in Zambian govt. Good job Mwamba.

  2. Scan MuMmembe’s accounts as well. I have a strong feeling he equally benefited from this deal…….

Let’s check this self styled righteous homo, so you know who he really is. A Common Crook!!

  3. I guess this is a good revenge.Corruption should not be entertained, the boys from the past paper were buzy labelling others as corrupt and yet there the ones who most corrupt.Mwamba ally go get them and finish them.

  4. Mr. E Mwamba is right to check the corrupt activities done by his predecessors.
Let them pay back if found wanting; no one MUST be above the law. M’membe’s boys are also very corrupt, with himself their father being number one. Pay back Time, deal with them without mercy.

  5. I am surprised that the ALL POWERFUL AMOS MALUPENGA is being put in his rightful place. Malupenga used to insult officers from Ministry of Labour, when the same was merged with Information. Come a minute late for a meeting and you are told off in your face, regardless of the reason or even AGE. Amos, the writing is on the wall. SATA has lost confidence in you and the POST NEWSPAPER. Resign. Next, is PS Labour. The chap is corrupt. ACC and others should review the contracts awarded for rehabilitation of the Ministry OFFICES. Contracts given to friends and money is being shared. k30 million for flowers without any tendering processes.
