Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation (ZNBC) web site has been hacked by a group calling itself The Turk Hack Team. The team has defaced the landing page with a logo of their organisation. ZNBC site is accessible through the url www.znbc.co.zm
That is what you get for using Free templates which you download from unknown sites and customize and make them as corporate website. Joomla, drupal and the like are big victims.
“Callboy atleast there are people with hacking skills and knowledge, my dear this just a trojan injection which can be deleted by ZNBC webmaster if they even got one otherwise let us monitor how many hours and days it will take them to delete it.
Ammm, Who visits ZNBC site anyway?
Wow even ZNBC ?! Those hackers are stubborn ,they have had done similar things to sites like the Telegraph, UPS, Vodafone and National Geographic.
This is good. Now go for Zambia Daily Mail and Times.
Fintu kubalansa.
LT you shouldnt have actually put the url for ZNBC in the story. From my humble understanding of these guys sometimes they can make it appear that the site is hacked, but the main victims are the people who try to access the site during the period of the apparent hacking. The people trying to access the site risks having their passwords and other details stolen.
You reasoning sounds like beer hall reasoning! Like the time we were kids ,we were told planes land on mattresses at the airport.
@cyber….Dude if anything it is your reasoning that leaves much to be desired.Just put Turk Hack Team into your Google search engine and what i`m talking about will come.It is your reasoning with leaves a lot to be desired.Just keep quite if you don`t know anything.Smh
Congratulations Turk Hack Team. Now go for the Post, Daily Mail and Times of Zambia. Please do not release it. It is a meaningless site.
Kabimba Group?
thats what happens when you employ your relatives to maintain your poorly designed web site.
This is not funny and PLEASE STOP BEING B.L.O.O.D.Y .I.D.I.O.T.S congratulating people you don’t even know for hacking the website of your only largest public broadcaster. The st.u.p.i.d.i.t.y among Zambians sometimes just amazes me. How do you know may be this could be a terrorist just trying to test the system in Zambia. You have to be aware that Zambia is on the hit-list of Al Shabbab. And what you do is grinning with broad teeth kwati ule wamya!!! U..b.u.p.u.b.o bwingi!! You think this is funny??!!
point thats how it is ukukulila kumushi kumona kwati fyose fyakwangasha
Well if they tested the system and brought it down then people are right in what they are saying. I never visit the website. My ten year old can run a better site than those people at ZNBC. Well done. Lesson taught. There’s a price to pay for mediocrity.
Don’t bother, even the url “www.znbc.co.zm” does not work. It also takes you to the hackers’ page.
Its what happens when you employ sub-standards .Invite us back into the country so that we can contribute to the IT profession. This rather looks like what we call a Denial of Service attack (Dos)
No loss of news. There news is crap to say the least. Hope they can upgrade the site and quality of their reporting. VISTS the like of KTN tv in Kenya.
Zambia Zambia Zambians, thieves have entered your home(ZNBC) and you praise them. Very soon we will start praising sexual defilers. Some bloggers, you wonder which country they come from. Learn to accept your birth rite. Most of you in those foriegn countries you pride in they are just interested in your labour and not you.
that the result of overlooking security and depending on cheaper solutions more to come
I don’t support this group,
but that is the price you pay,
you blocked some good online newspaper,
why not use your expert to undo this hacker/.??
????????
Govt should award the tender for blocking websites to ‘turk hack team’, its already clear that they are competent at the job.
All GRZ agencies should be outsourcing those well trained boys at ZiCTA who are setting up the Zambia Police Forensic Lab ( Coolwe Nalubamba and Lovemore Cheelo). Boma has hightec resources but negligence
Wow blogger will never seize to amaze me, congratulating such an act! Supporting crime activities is just way too much anyway.

So ZNBC even has a site?!!!! I don’t think any serious minded person can check the site.
People it ‘s also O key to appreciate what you have at hand than soiling it….
Let Positive criticisms come with acceptable advice, aim to build and not to destroy…
