Former defence Minister Geoffrey Mwamba says his political and business prospects are bright in 2014.

Speaking to Qfm News in a telephone interview from Kasama, Mr. Mwamba says all is well with him and that he will remain strong.

Mr. Mwamba stresses that the God he serves is a great one and that he will always be thankful to God.

The Kasama central lawmaker says he will continue to serve the people in his constituency without fear or favour.

He has since assured the electorate in Kasama central that he will continue to do his best for them and ensure that peace and unity continues to prevail in the constituency.

And asked to comment on calls by Chipili Member of Parliament Davis Mwila for him to be investigated by investigative wings, Mr. Mwamba said he has no time to waste responding to such remarks.

    • Love SATA or hate him, he was very effective in opposition. Where are our opposition leaders when u need them? Why are they sitting on their hands when the nation needs them the most? New constitution has been thrown thru the window, mealie meal prices are thru the roof, bye elections every 3 months. Can anyone impeach this FULL?

    • When President Sata was in opposition the party in power exercised the democratic right for opposition parties to express themselves freely unlike this time when anything you say most of the time ends up in a court of law or in a prison cell. I only remember Sata going into a police cell over the alleged stolen vehicle. Other than that he was always a free man. Kudos should go to the MMD for having allowed other parties to express themselves without fear of intimidation. The press is equally under pressure and attacks for publishing certain news!

  2. It is now conclusive to say PF is a one term party, and this has not been brought about by outsiders of PF but insiders, Look at the escalating commodity prices, the nurses saga, the chiefs saga, the infighting, etc, surely someone must put a stop to all this before it is too late.

    • Ba GBM nangu batila kwimba kati kusansha na Lesa mwibika Lesa mu kanwa ka chilumba twapapata. Lyenifye ubukanakala bwenu tondolo! Piece of advice young richman GBM, do not be too proud for nothing, just enjoy your wealth peacefully without implicating God’s Holy Name in your proud and dirty politics!

  3. Justice system has collapsed. Zambia is now a one party state in the making. Our so called opposition are in hiding for good reason. Sata will find any excuse to send them to prison. Unless they are just waiting for nature to run its course. Zambia is crying out for brave leadership. Where is the international pressure? We only seem to make headlines abroad when decisions go against multinationals. The Zambian success story is slowly turning in to a nightmare and drifting towards internal conflicts which can only mean one thing, Nkondo.

    • Twallvotele mwisho.
MMD made us rise against UNIP, KK remove subsidies which resulted to high cost of living.
PF made us rise against MMD by promising Heaven of earth MORE MONEY, EMPLOYMENT, NEW CONSITITUTION etc all this was to be done in 90 day.
OPPOSITION organise us rise against PF which has done what KK did “removed subsidied” the same as happened HIGH COST OF LIVING. We will definately back you, Look at our once clean town which have become SOWETHO markets anything go with this PF.

  4. I am waiting for the birth of new Political Party led by GBM. It will be a serious threat to the PF. The PF will split up there in the North – Rest of Zambia will be unaffected. God bless Zambia..

  5. Check chama the wife to GBM facial expression. Like there’s somthing secret that she does behind GBM tht which he doesn’t know. Does anyone agree with what I’m seein in that face?? A face tells a lot of stories

  6. People, GBM is not as heavy politically as his body and as some naive politicians would want people to believe.Remember how he was wired in Kabwata few years ago. What is helping GBM now is his financial muscle and his resignation has nothing to do with the Chitimukulu debacle, though he is using it as a face saver, but the actual reason for the resignation is attributable to the mass defeat he suffered at the hands of winter Kabimba and the humiliation he suffered at the hands of president Sata when the president turned down GBM’s ill conceived endorsements.

  7. We need to buy good players mwandi, we cant rely on Nani and Januzaj all the time! Also, Arsenal will not win the league, their team s too frail!!
