“AGRICULTURE Minister Wilbur Simuusa wearing a hut … at the ZNS show stand in Kitwe” – The Minister is carrying a whole HUT on his head! Wow.
“TANZANIAN High Commissioner to Zambia Grace Mujuma (left) interacts with Chambishi Metals head for quality assurance Robert Minango with a bold head at the Chamber of Mines stand at the Show ground in Kitwe” – Mr Minango’s head is very courageous!!

Dude who was doing the captions must have been as high as a kite!
@ Nathanael, Suntwe, dude and the other one,
LT was just being sacarstically funny by that statement, try to get their humour sometimes. You guys take things to seriously! If you Look at that Hat you and read that caption again, you will discover that it is some how too large and can be compared to a Hut, the only mistake is that LT should have used Quotation marks!
Thank you God there is no picture for Pres. Charles Miko Sata.

…Robert Minango with a bold head!!
LT, somewhere in PRIMARY SCHOOL, we were taught to differentiate things like HAT and HUT, BOLD and BALD, STATIONERY and STATIONARY, etc. Is it too much to ask if I asked you guys to dig up your primary school English books???

Unlike English, which has more than ten vowels, Zambian languages have five vowels.
Thus, most Zambian speakers of English do not differentiate words like “cup” and “cap’ , “hop’ and “hope”, “sit” and “seat”, “lack” and “luck” , “wonder” and wander”, etc. To them, these words sound the same. Have you ever wondered why you are repeatedly asked this question, “Where are you from?” when you meet an American for the first time?
thats why we are advocating for the removal white supremacist languages like french, english, spanish, portuguese from official use in Africa and zambia in particular. We have serious problems to tackle than trying to master a language which has no relation to our culture and heritage. We cant be wasting our time, trying to under or learn the difference in pronunciation of words like “wonder” and “wander” at the expense of building school, hospitals etc.

These grammatical errors will worsen, once the young being taught in local languages graduate to become future editors of journals . This is only a tip of the iceberg! Its one step forward, & three steps back.
Well done P.F.
