Fourty-Seven year-old Bishop Dominic Nyondo who was arrested last week for allegedly sexually abusing nine young girls from his Church has pleaded not guilty to nine counts of sexual abuse in a Kitwe magistrates court.

Bishop Nyondo of Holy Fire Christian Ministry Church in Kitwe has been charged with three counts of defilement, three counts of rape and three counts of indecent assault .

This was after he allegedly sexually abused the girls aged between 14 and 20 years on the pretext that he was cleansing them of evil spirits.

Bishop Nyondo of House number 853 Ipusukilo township in Kitwe is accused of allegedly having sex with three girls below the age of sixteen between April 2010 and November 2011.

He is further accused of allegedly having sex with three women without their consent between December 2013 and June 2014 and further indecently assaulting three women during the same period.

The accused person is said to have undressed his victims while he prayed for them, ‘anointed’ them with milk and later had sex with them.

Bishop Nyondo appeared before Senior Resident Magistrate Daniel Musonda where he denied all the nine charges.

Bishop Nyondo has however been granted a cash bail of K5000 with two working sureties in their own recognisance after he applied for bail.

He was arrested last week on July 21 and the matter has been adjourned to August 11, 2014 for commencement of trial.

  1. There must be more investigetion on this issue give him chance to explain , and let the girls say the truth these acusations can be true but can be slander satan has schems to slander men of God , let good investigetion be made properly there need to be witnesses three infact , and his life record can help find out about his life

  2. These girls were really gullible and naive. Who told them that applying milk and undressing would lead to the casting out of demons? Which bible have they being reading? I am highly suspicious of these girls. How could they agree to go to an isolated place with the pastor? Aba abaiche pali fimo efyo baimine epo then they got disappointed. This matter needs further investigation.

  3. VERY CORRECT GUYS, FOR SURE HOW CAN A NORMAL LADY GO AND UNDRESS FOR A PASTOR JUST FOR PRAYERS? tHESE CHAPS HAD A HIDDEN AGENDER.

    • @Saulosi, I asked an American what “masquerading” means…. he asked me back “…are you for real bro, that word not in my dues”.
I just answered, “it must be a Zambian word then, never mind”.

  4. it is not the problem of lack of content of what the bible teaches. these preachers teach that God gives them extra revelations which go beyond the bible menu. They force themselves on their people are individuals who should be obeyed and disobeying or questioning them amounts to questioning or disobeying God. Unfortunately, many people believe the same thing, opening a gate for deceptions just as is the case here. Surely, there is no smoke without fire, especially where chewing is concerned.

  5. hahaha!!! @ “…allegedly having sex with three women without their consent…” was he hypnotizing ’em?

  6. There is too much licentious behavior in matters of religion. Fanatics are now ruling the roost alongside opportunists who see the easy pickings of pecuniary gain and unchallenged power trips. I would like an example set on this bishop as a beginning to weed out these useless pretenders.

  7. This is the problem with pastors who are training for two weeks. They lack morality undressing in front of the young girls who to some extent can be daughters! Shame pastor. On the other hand, there is a problem with most young girls nowadays because they are not heeding to the advise from parents or guardians! They think joining the upcoming “Busitele” churches their problems will be sorted out. They think continue praying in churches that have been in existence for years is old fashion. See now what Hallelujah has pushed you into. Nyondo, you are a hoof in a sheep skin enticing young ones defaming the Holly name of God through your evil deeds!!! God forbid!!!!
