Christian Democratic Party (CDP) president, Danny Pule, has successfully filed in his nomination papers at Supreme Court for the Presidential elections scheduled to take place on January 20, 2015.

Dr Pule arrived at Supreme Court grounds in the company of his wife, party officials and supporters.
The CDF President declared his assets worth K71m and successfully filed in his nomination papers before Acting Chief Justice, Lombe Chibesakunda, after raising the required 200 supporters and meeting other electoral conditions.

And speaking after filing in his nomination papers, Dr Pule said his party, once voted into power next year, will put God as first priority as part of the manifesto by ensuring that the Church is involved as partners in national development.

Dr Pule further promised that his party will reduce the high cost of living for all Zambians by ensuring a reduction in the price of mealie-meal and other essential commodities.

He charged that the campaigns have now started since he has successfully filed his papers and will go country-wide campaigning for the forthcoming Presidential elections.

Dr Pule has since urged his supporters to work together to ensure that they win next month’s President elections.

  1. These ceremonial Doctors, Pule and Mumba are jokers. I hear they went to the same school in Southern province. Cant the two just come together and form one party? These two can never win an election. These two are like Sondashi, Miyanda, Chipimo, Nawakwi and Sinkamba who cannot read the times. What does one do with such time wasters?

    • Which wife? This is the strange thing about Zambians. Here is this so called Pastor who not so long ago had married a young member of his congregation in very dubious circumstances. Remember the story? Yet he has not been castigated for his unChristian actions. Yet some bloggers are going on about HH and the Sabbath.
Zambians to tolerate infidelity. Multiple relationships. We all know MS had numerous women. Yet it was accepted. We need to change this as we have accepted it as apart of our culture. We call ourselves a Christian nation but we kid ourselves. We are definitely not!

  2. Why are these politicians only taking about reducing Mealie Meal Prices and nothing about costs of inputs that go into making Mealie meal? Will the force farmers to sell their mealie meal cheaply? Or will they buy maize from farmers and sell it to millers at subsidised prices? What about the cost of electricity, spares, labour, fuel? Remember that prices for some of these are dictated by market forces.

    • Some of these politicians just wake up from a long slumber and remember that they have a party, get in a car and drive to court to file nominations. Why do they bother? Imagine Pule in State House with his hyena laugh!

    • I also wondered. Maybe they didn’t want to get it wrong in case he had changed wives. This is a man of God! Imwe Bantu!

  3. Sometimes I think some of these chaps who have no chance in hell simply do it so that 20 years from now they can tell their grand kids that they once ran for president
