Thank you for the role you played in the countries liberation.
MHSRIP.
NOW, HERE IS A GOVERNMENT THAT DOESN’T DO THINGS JUST TO WIN ELECTIONS. Thank you for the honor rendered.
Well it’s abit too late to judge on that one.

I cant agree more
IT IS A LEGAL REQUIREMENT, LEST YOU DID’NT KNOW. HE AT ONE TIME SERVED AS A DEPUTY MINISTER IN DR. CHILUBA’S GOVERNMENT. THE PF GOVERNMENT IS NOT DOING HIM A FAVOUR. HE DESERVES THE HONOUR.
“”that is why AFRICAN LEADERS END UP WITH BULLETS IN THEIR HEADS “” was quoted by one of the dailies .
i should have been at primary school at that time.but it sent fear in my spin as it was during one party state then. that was a landmark statement ofcourse he was in trouble with kk .
That kind of courage sometimes visits me.
HE DEFENDED DEMOCRACY AT THE FIRST MMD CONVENTION AT MULUNGUSHI CONFERENCE CENTRE WHEN, AFTER ARTHUR WINA LOST TO CHILUBA, THE PARTY LEADERSHIP WANTED TO ACCOMMODATE HIM BY MAKING HIM CHAIRMAN. IT MEANT TO CIRCUMVENT THE CONSTITUTION, THE LATE CHIPIMO, WHO WAS THE ONLY CANDIDATE AFTER THE APPLICATION TIME HAD LONG ELAPSED FOR THE POSITION OF PARTY CHAIRMAN, STOOD HIS GROUND AND OPPOSED THE MOVE. HE WAS A VERY PRINCIPLED PERSON. I WAS A DELEGATE.
Chipmo was indeed a very principled man . Kaunda called him names but he refused to apologize and consequently lost the chairmanship of standard charted bank . He also defied Chiluba at the MMD convention. MHRP
The man was not only principled but he was also courageous. He was one of the very few men who literally put their necks on the chopping board during the tyrannical one-party state regime of KK. May His Soul Rest In Peace.
Condolences to the Chipimo family. May the good Lord comfort the deceased family.
