Zambia’s envoys in the Confederation of African Football (CAF) confederation cup Power Dynamos this morning took time to off in Libreville, Gabon to pay tribute to the national football heroes who perished in a plane crash in that country in 1993.

Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) delegation leader Lenny Nkhoma and Power Dynamos Executive chairman Benny Simukoko led players and officials in paying tribute to Zambia national team players who perished in Gabon 22 years ago.

The team sang solemn songs as they lay flowers on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean in remembrance of the 30-member Zambia national football team.

Power Dynamos Team Manager Lombe Chipupu has disclosed this to ZANIS Sports in an email from Libreville, Gabon yesterday.

The team arrived in Gabon yesterday at 12:30 hours and is today expected to take on FC Mounana in the first leg of the second round of the CAF confederations cup.
